So, my friend came riding with me today!
We set out towards my village, as when I have guests, it's something fun and different to do!

...I had forgotten it's May Day.

We were walking down the road, when a lovely woman pulled over and waved us to her car. She said "The fun run is starting in a moment, how are your horses?" They're usually good with people, so we thanked her and carried on.
Right on que, a whole herd of people can charging up the road. They both had a look, but over all were fine.

Then came the umbrellas.

I was no longer riding a 15.1 horse, I was now riding a 17.2 dragon!!
To be fair, he didn't actually do anything, he just was really twitchy and nervous.

Then, a kid who we'd seen with an umbrella and a skateboard came wooshing up behind us!! Umbrella open, held up infront of him :O!! Ned didn't want to be naughty and he tried his hardest to stay calm, but it was all too much and he bolted, bringing my friend and Monty with us!!
I saw my life flash before my eyes, as we were headed towards a parked car! Thankfully, the bolt was short lived and they must have got about 5 strides in total.
We regained full control and went to find my mum on the Knoll, where she was selling her art.
Soooo many umbrellas!!! They coped very very well, we met mother and had a short chat then headed back.

Thankfully, we had no issues on the way home and we were both walking on the buckle.
Fab bombproofing sesh, haha :P

We also got a bit damp :P hence all the umbrellas!

Umbrellas are super scary!! I bought 2 from Poundland and plan to do some more bombproofing when it dries up a bit.

I was super proud of them both, apart from the mini-bolt, there wasn't much spooking involved!
