I've now had the go ahead from my parents to put a advert up on a website to say I'm looking for a horse to exercise(or at the very maxium share).
I don't know where to start though. Can anyone tell me a good website I could put something like this on?
And what do I say? This is my riding experience-
5years in a RS, member of Pony Club(group C). I have had two past experiences of riding 'real' private horses, but I have ridden everything from the slowest, stubbornest cob to the most enthusiastic ex-showjumper at my RS. I have also had little experience in driving , showing a shetland

.

Preferably I would like a fun hack or something, whos owner doesn't have time to ride. My mum is willing to give me a lift 2-4times a week to wherever its kept. It couldn't be everyday as both my parents work full time. Am I asking too much? I'm thinking they're wouldn't be a lot of people to suit my times/etc.

What do you think?

I've been thinking this alot since last week, when my instructor told me its defiently time to start riding more. Shes the one who told me to put a advert up, as she watched me ride a ex BSJA mare easily, who've I've never ridden before. I was so proud that day!

' (Insert age - 13 i think you are?) yr old girl looking for safe but fun hack to enjoy 2-4 times a week (however many miles) from (place). Has PCed and ridden a variety of horses. '

Keep it simple and be honest x

I'd start by putting an ad in local tack shops and possibly post office/supermarket and see if you get any interest from local people, then maybe a local rider magazine. If no response then try a horsey website like Horsequest, H&H although obviously these are national. Your ad (above) sounds good, I expect there will be someone nearby who'll be happy to let you help exercise their horse as plenty of owners don't have as much free time to spend riding as they would like.

For a long time your the type of person i was looking for to help me with my pony. I wanted someone 1-2 times a week to muck out etc and ride her. You just need to find someone who doesnt always have time to ride but wants to keep their pony fit - mine lived in so she needed to be ridden everyday and with work etc i couldnt always do that.

Im sure you will find something suitable, but be prepared to do a bit of stable work!! Good Luck in your search

PaintedLucky, I'm just typing out a ad to put up at my RS, there aren't many tack shops round here, but the RS is very popular so fingers crossed!
Flony_Pony, I'd love it if stable work were involved

How does this look-
RIDER-blah and surrounding areas.

I’m a 13yearold girl looking for a safe but fun hack to exercise 2-4 times a week. I have been riding for 5 years and have ridden a variety of ponies/horses. Member of the Pony Club. Very willing to help with stable work.
