After reading the Ad again. Not only does it look like a cut & shunt car but where on earth did they get the idea it would make a "Top class stallion. Can be gelded but would be a waste"
Horse looks perfect to be on FHOTD.
Owner might want to read it as well, might learn something (but then if their old enough to have a horse and can't spell Christian . . )
He looks a lot older than 12 to me, poor thing.
Look at the condition of the poor horse and his feed bowl bears a striking resemblance to a dustbin lid
To keep a horse in that condition is shameful enough in itself but to take pictures and then actually put them on a website to try to flog the poor thing is just shocking. It's not making me want to pay £2850 that's for sure! He's skin and bone poor lad
At least the first one, despite the poor spelling (could be dyslexic, who knows) is in decent condition.
FHOTD is not supposed to be mean - foals that are the result of breeding from poor horses with dreadful conformation and unreliable temperaments, are more often than not destined for slaughter. The message is loud and clear - do not breed indiscriminately.
i kno but i just don't think its nice calling horses fugly but thats just my opinion but as i say i'm a total sap lol!! i always fall for the more unfortunate animals lol
But sadly these unfortunate animals end up in the slaughter house.
"I mop up. I clean up the mess left by morons who just have to breed their mare." - Kill buyer Manny Phelps
So if people were more thoughtful about what they breed & keep as a stallion, this wouldn't happen. You really should read it and then I am sure you would agree.
never ever ever ever breed bone to blood.... totally the wrong way round you'll end up with even worse conformation than that stallion! and a ridiculous temperament!
I've now come to the conclusion that some people have picked up on the fact that badly spelled adverts attract attention!!! They do. Quite a few of us have now looked at both horses for sale and, who knows, someone might fall absolutely in love with BABY.
Mind you, I hate bad spelling and don't know how I'd go about intentionally spelling everything wrong. It goes against the grain.
Oh, well, we can't be good at everything. My sums are so useless I'd be beaten by my 8 year old Grand-son in a sums test.
Perhaps I am just a bit innocent on these things but are these adverts for real??? Do people put those adverts together and really think that they will sell the horse? And I haven't even started on the spelling. Amazing
