Hey

I'm looking to ride/ fitten/ train/ start other peoples horses (I'm skint!!!) and was wondering what websites would be best to advertise on?

I'm stuck in Aberdeen so very out of the way!!!

I'm trying gumtree, as I know some people who've had success with it, but I've no clue what others to try?

I'm also going to post in tack shops etc, but any other suggestions welcomed!!!

Vet practices that do equine? Do you have a local hunt - can you get them to put something on their website?

Word of mouth is worth it's weight in gold. Leaflets at shows etc Any livery yards near you, there always seems to be somebody who is nervous of their horse!

My friend used to do this but also did mobile groom - mucking out etc as well as riding and made a reasonable living. She had to give it up due to developing sciatica.

It might be better to advertise locally, e.g. tack shops, RCs, with farriers, etc. as I imagine there would be a practical limit to how far you would want to drive to ride one horse.

i could reply to a few of the people who contacted me but not sure if they would be willing to pay might be though? do you have like a little advert etc. i could attach to email?

Hello I am also looking for some free riding just to build up my experience but without too much cost as i am also doing driving lessons which is proving quite expensive too! Would you be able to pass on any people you have who would be interested in having me ride their horse also??
I have a flyer i have made also

Thanks Carly :)
