Advice - blood in vomit

Hi!
Wondered if anyone has any experience or ideas. I have 3 dogs (two 8 yo rescues and a 2 yo collie) and have this morning found a clear pile of vomit with a small amount of blood in. Was on wood floor so I couldn't tell whether dark or fresh. I'm obv very worried and intend to take to see the vet... as soon as I work out the culprit. One of the older rescues has been eating slowly/unusually so recently so I think it's her. Anyone had anything similar? (Not looking for advice 'to go to vet's' as of course I will)

could be anything from sore teeth/a oral growth to upset guts, but a small amount of frank blood is usually nothing to serious to worry about but you are right needs to be seen by a vet as it can be a sign of something that is causing pain in the mouth.

Twiggy2 - thanks for reply she had her teeth done by vet (cleaned/extraction) less than 6 months ago. They were in good order. She had an xray of chest to check heart as has a murmur too but they were happy with the result. Think I'll just keep an eye on what comes out of both ends!!

If the blood looks like coffee grounds then this is old blood, I would till get it investigated.
