Hi!
Wondered if anyone has any experience or ideas. I have 3 dogs (two 8 yo rescues and a 2 yo collie) and have this morning found a clear pile of vomit with a small amount of blood in. Was on wood floor so I couldn't tell whether dark or fresh. I'm obv very worried and intend to take to see the vet... as soon as I work out the culprit. One of the older rescues has been eating slowly/unusually so recently so I think it's her. Anyone had anything similar? (Not looking for advice 'to go to vet's' as of course I will)

could be anything from sore teeth/a oral growth to upset guts, but a small amount of frank blood is usually nothing to serious to worry about but you are right needs to be seen by a vet as it can be a sign of something that is causing pain in the mouth.

Twiggy2 - thanks for reply :) she had her teeth done by vet (cleaned/extraction) less than 6 months ago. They were in good order. She had an xray of chest to check heart as has a murmur too but they were happy with the result. Think I'll just keep an eye on what comes out of both ends!!
