I am going to my first unaffiliated show this sunday, and I was wondering what to expect, what to wear ect?
I will be hacking down to the show ground (because my mare won't go In our trailer). My family should be coming none of whom are horsey, so I'm kind of panicking! It says that the classes start at 10am and I'm in class 3 should I be there before ten to walk or will the course change with each rond? HELP PLEASE!!!!!

At most places the course will change with each round, it might be an idea to ring the secretary first to get an idea of how many they usually get in each class and approx class start times. Give yourself plenty of time, its better to be too early than to have to rush and it'll give you an idea of the course, any spooky jumps, how busy the warm up is, where the loos are....etc. As long as you have a tidy jacket, shirt and tie if a collared shirt as well as your hat and boots you'll be fine. We stick to tweed as its the only one in the wardrobe! Workmanlike is better than too much bling until you feel confident in what you are doing. Good luck and have a lovely time.

thanks a lot! I'll get on to the secretary now!! I often use this showground for schooling so I know were everything is ect..thanks again for the advise :)
