Finally we have a winner!! He loves ERS pellets in the same way I love chocolate. Given he is a horse that hates apples he also had to be a horse that hates oats??? - oddball? Just so thankful something has got him really keen to eat to the point I am getting seriously frisked all the time for the sample bag. Just hoping he never reads the ingredients as he hates alf alfa so was not expecting he'd go for it, must just have some really good flavours in it to mask it. Many thanks to everyone for their suggestions it has really helped and as I said earlier we now also have a yard full of happy horses eating all the left overs and some liveries trying new things!
