Advice for Insurance

Hi Im just wanting a Bit of advice really Im looking at fully starting up my Buissness in pet care and dog walking in my area and Im wanting to get some insurance for this, I have been doing odd Jobs for the past year or so but I would like to find some more regular clients and If possible to be insured to help put owners at rest. Im 17 but have been out of school for 2 years Now but Im 18 in a few months. I know its hard im still under 18, but I was just wondering if anyone knows of any companys that Insure Under 18s for dog walking, and pet care. I have some really lovely clients who dont mind and Im insured for my Equine side of things as I have my own horses But I would really like to try and be insured fully before getting more clients. Any help I would really Appreciate

You should be able to get public liability insurance, I don't know what else you'd need but I imagine that as a minimum. You may find an insurance broker easiest to use, but I know some companies offer it to young people-Ashburnham is one that shows up specifically targeted at your age group.

Additionally you can look at your local authority, some of them will have a lot of information for new businesses/sole traders and can point you in the right direction.
