I bought her roughly 8 weeks ago. For the first 5 weeks she didn't have a season, and was an absolute dream. Shes only a baby at 4 years old and I love her to pieces, however these last 3 weeks, shes had 2 seasons about 1 week apart.
The first day of the season she is very tucked up and I almost think its painful for her as I cannot ride her when shes in season, she plants herself, she doesn't react if someone tries to make her move from behind and she seems like she doesn't feel the stick..she just wont move.
Now I want to help her, if its painful for her I want to help but also I wont be able to plan anything for her if I don't know whether or not she'll be in season.
Have been suggested Regumate.. Would the insurance cover this for a year? (general question).
Any experience with a mare like this in season? Shes such a beautiful mare and I want to make her right, its so weird
