I have recently bought 3 individual infrared lights to use mounted in a stable as a horse solarium (the lights are specifically made for this use) as it was far far cheaper than buying a horse solarium and more practical as I dont have the room for one! The lights have dimmer switches and are meant to be able to be used for drying off (after quick pre-hunt winter baths and the like) and also for therapeutic use for muscular injuries and pre-exercise use. Naturally they will have to be mounted high enough in the stable that my dozy pones cant get their heads on them, however I was wondering about what dimensions to place them at?
. Options are very flexible thanks to a lot of very high beams.
Has anyone else done the same as me and could advise the best distances to place them from the horse please?
(horse will be tied up during use). Naturally one will go each side of horse and one at the back pointing towards the buttocks/top of back but I am unsure of distances?
These are the lights if that is any help, I looked on their webpage about infomation on infrared lights however there was nothing on distances, I am going to try ringing them but as they are just a supplier not sure how much help I will get tbh; http://www.electricfence-online.co..../horse-solarium-dryer-kit-3x1-3kw-771718.html .
I have googled info to no avail and wondered if one of you experienced lot could help?
thanks for any advice.
