I have always been a confident rider up until recently
I had about 6months off riding and came back at Christmas
Basically started riding on 26th December most days, had 3 falls, the 3rd being quite a bad one cracking my ribs. Backs starting to feel a bit better now.
I got on last week, lunged first for 10mins and my horse immediately bronked round the school trying to get me off. Really out of character hes never bucked in his life ive owned him since a 3 year old and backed him myself.
After 3 laps of this and managing to stay on i got off as my back was really painfull and to be completely honest i was a bit scared
Due to snow he hasnt been ridden since
Now my back if feeling much better, hes having his back done on Thursday and teeth checked. I want a plan of action for when i get back on
How would you go about it? and avoid being bronked?!
Thanks in advance
PS i will add he moved yards at Christmas, i hacked out schooled etc that week before the fall with no probs really apart from a few unlucky falls
