Hi Everyone,

I feel like I have tried on every riding boot there is but I have finally found one that actually zips up my calf without leaving a huge gap at the top of my leg - mountain horse Richmond boots.

They are really nice but as stiff as boards and the back comes right up behind my knee.

Does anyone have any experience with these boots and how much they might drop?

Any help/advice is appreciated.

:)

My Mountain Horse boots are too high behind the knee but are beginning to drop as they wear in, super comfy otherwise though!

I have these, they do drop, a little, I'd say approx 1cm.
Is it the back of the knee, or the side where they are too long? If at the back of the knee, they will crease at ankles slightly and drop behind the knee. Have you tried heel risers? They might help you break them in,

I love mine :)

That's reassuring to hear thank you :). They are nipping the back of my knee at the moment but I am hoping its just because they are so stiff.

Fingers crossed when I walk them in they will be ok because they are a gorgeous boot.

I think I will invest in those heel raisers as well.

Thank you :)
