Advice needed. New horse exercises

Hello all,

I have just started part loaning a cobx! And was wondering if anyone knows of any exercises I can do with him to get him used to me! Obviously I know it all takes time! But if anyone had anything I can do to help me and him along the way! He's a pretty bombproof horse so you can do most things with him!

Bring him in and groom him. Find all his itchy spots and give him a good scratch. Ride out in confidence giving company to start with and maybe arrange a couple of lessons on him with a good instructor.
