Advice needed on which bit for my daughter's new pony.

Could it not be a schooling problem? You say the mare is green.It could be that she gets unbalanced in canter and tries to run faster to cope and that she feels strong but is not.My honest advice is to try a different instructor,one who will be prepared to do some schooling for you as well as teach your daughter.
