Daughter's legs having almost reached the ground on No1 LGW has meant we've had to consider getting her a new pony. Somehow we're getting not one pony, but two.....they won't be lonely then, at least that's the theory.
Meet Roddy, he's coming Saturday, he's a 6 year old 14h traditional style New Forest (hoping picture not tooo big)
Then we've also another smaller pony, 13.2 Sam coming on Sunday, sorry no pictures, he's 19, to keep him company.
Both lads are apparently very good in company having both come from PC/RC backgrounds so are used to meeting a variety of ponies, are good when turned out with others, and are not shod, so I was thinking as neither will really have the advantage of being established in their new home just to introduce them in the field (about an acre, can open a 2nd acre if needed) and let them get on with it as there's plenty of nice grass at the moment?
What do you reckon?
Thanks!
