Advice needed please!

I recently replied to an advert for a horse available for share. She's a 15hh 11yo Lipizzaner mare, not done much for a long time, been ridden a few times a week since June, doesn't jump - I'd be riding her 3/4 times a week and looking after her her on those days (the rest of the time she is on part livery). Basically I'd be schooling her (and hopefully improving her), some hacking, and hopefully taking her to lessons and dressage competitions (prelim, more if she's capable).
The owner is now asking me how much money I would be able to contribute. I've shared before but it's always been free so I have no idea what to say! If I have to pay out too much then I won't be able to afford to take her anywhere or do anything, but I don't want to go in with an offer that is going to be insulting!
Looking around at other adverts, £20 per week seems to be cropping up in a few... is that an acceptable offer?
 
I would offer about £20 a week.

You're doing the owner as much a favour as she is doing you so a nominal contribution of £20 sounds fair to me.
 
That's why I wasn't sure, I'm looking for something I can look after as well as ride so I'd be doing a lot of care, I had offered her more on the care side as well as I'm happy to do that. Maybe I go in with £20 then if that sounds reasonable, and if I really love the horse but owner isn't happy about the money then I'll offer to do more of the looking after to bring her part livery costs down?

Horses around here seem to be about £80-£100 per month. So you're not far off if the horses is on DIY on your days.
