well its like this
ever since i got my mare back from her stint at riding schools whilst i sorted my self financially she appears to have become very hard in the mouth.
i had her teeth and back checked and she is fine as i thought this might be causing her to pull down on the bit, she is not forward going but when i do take up the contact along roads etc she pulls down and i suffer RSI so it is very painful for me
i have tried schooling the problem away but this has not worked
i am now looking to buy another bit, one that she will not be tempted to pull down when she feels like it on when i do take up a gentle contact on a ride, she is currently ridden in a french link snaffle
i am at my wits end after a painful hack today, please advise?
thanks in advance
