I HAVE A THROUGHABRED WHO HAS PULLED A SHOE OFF SATUDAY, NO LAMENESS SAT/SUN AND NO SWELLING WALKED OUT WELL AND SEEMED FINE, THIS AM WAS SORE WHEN BROUGHT OUT OF STABLE AND LEG SLIGHTLY SWOLLEN AND HEAT IN FOOT, FARRIER COMING THURS CANNOT COME ANY SOONER, I WAS GOING TO POULTICE FOOT ANY IDEAS?
 
Poulticing seems like your best bet to me, maybe see if you can tub his foot with some epsom salts or something first

Possible nail bind. Apply a hot poultice to the foot and change it daily and see what comes out.

Alternatively it could be that as he is a TB and therefore (presumably) flat footed he has bruised his sole. My previous horse (WB) spent a day sprawled out in his stable groaning in pain after I walked him up a flinty drive on vets advice (on box rest following a kick). The day before (as he was due to be shod but had to be on box rest for six weeks) the farrier had removed all four shoes 'to give his feet a break'. Poor horse had to get by on bute until another farrier could come out quick sharpish and put the damn shoes back on. :(

I guess some horses are more sensitive than others. x
