My mare keeps scratchin up her face :(

Now we had no idea how she was doing it but ive now worked it out.
We have square wire fencing and electric round the top so she isnt rubbing on the posts shes going under and catching her self on the bottom of the wire. As the join on every wire square in sharp (where red circle is) ..

Shes catching her face all where the red part is, but its currently just where the blue is.
Ive been treating it with skin repair cream and it heals quickly but theres new ones everyday :(

Any ideas peoples?

My pony rubs the top of his head on the side of the stable and I have been trying the Itch Stop cream this week, might be worth a try

Itchstop cream is very good I must admit. We use to have stock fencing like that but all ours has been ripped down. To many injuries and in one case our pony put her foot through the hole and than panicked and result was the wire slicing through her foot like a cheese string!!!! I could see the bones in her foot it was half off. All fencing now is natural hedge or post and rail
