Looking for advice re Saddle Fitting!!

I currently have an Albion Kontrol 17.5 MW, for my 16hh thoroughbred- who has a rather flat back compared to other thoroughbreds.
Saddle fitter had a Quick Look and said it’s the incorrect tree for him. He suggested an Abion K2 instead.
Having looked for an Albion k2, MW, 17”, they all seem very pricey!
Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on other saddles with a similar tree/ can tell me what type of tree it is?
TIA!!

I had a rather flat backed TB and was a fan of Albion K2 as so comfortable but saddle fitter also suggested an Ideal Impala as an option!

Trees have many but potentially teeny variables which is why everyone gets so frustrated that there is little learning out there about tree shape for amateurs.

The K2 is a generalist tree, not super flat but flatter than most standard Albion trees. It has fairly long points which I don't like in a saddle for lower withers.

The Impala could indeed be a good bet, imo it's not as flat a tree as people think it is, bit it's probably not a million miles from the K2.

Could.your fitter not advise other options? They're the only one that has seen the horse and can recommend knowledgeably.
