Having ordered a pair of volants, my delight when they arrived was cut short when I realised wrong size of boots have been sent to me;((((((( Also seems that my actual size is sold out now so my option is send back for refund. Soooo gutted!!!! The pair sent are perfect fit on leg and length, but small accross top of foot and a neat foot size!!!! but i can get them on.....so im wondering will they stretch a wee bit?????? or best just send back now....

You could try calling a cobbler and see if they reckon the boot will stretch in the area you need it to? I would try that before sending them back and not try to wear them in as if it doesn't work you can send them back worn!

where did you order from? Equestrian.com seem to have them in all sizes :) I would locate another pair and send them back - mine have certainly not stretched and they have been super comfortable from day one...

Or wait until your size comes back into stock with them. I bought ones that were too long (they're so tall!!) and was going to return but they didn't have shorter ones in stock but told me to keep looking at the site as they might be a return, I did and one popped up after a couple of days so I bought those and then just advertised the ones that didn't fit on a local horsey Facebook page - someone came next day and paid exactly what I paid for them (it was easier than me bothering returning them!). Now the new boots fit great, although it is painful wearing them in. I jumped off a horse the other day and on landing a bit at the heel dug right in suddenly and took a chunk out of my heel so I had to hobble back to the trailer...

They don't release very much across the foot - or at least my pair haven't and I've had them about 6 months now. I understand from other posts that they will drop slightly in the leg so keep mine in boot tress as the fit is brilliant as it is. It took ages to get my size as I'm an odd fit - and I wasn't paying full price! Keep trying. You size will come up.

Thanks for advice! I did get them from equestrian.com but they dont have my size left;((( they were so beautiful too!! hopefully they will have them again before long, but meanwhile ive rather reluctantly sent these ones back as being a 3 instead of 4 1/2 I just felt my foot looked wrong!!!
