My horse is currently in a Rubber Full cheek snaffle and a grackle but i feel as though he isnt accepting it. he is relcutant to soften when i ride him and often tries to cross his jaw ( hence the grackle) i havent hacked him since i have had him and i havent changed his bit from the one his old owner had him in. but i am worried that he will be able to get hold of the bit and i wont be able to stop him, as he does have a fiery attitude. im wondering if anyone can give me any advice or reconmend a bit for him that would mean he wouldnt need his grackle or just one that he might accept more?
