Advice on bitting ??????

Hi, does anyone have any ideas on the strongest snaffle bit that is BE legal that I can use on my young mare, she just keeps running off with my son when we use a snaffle, we are using a french link fulmer cheek at the moment, any advice would be really usefull. Thanks guys.

try a hanging cheek snaffle, i think that's the strongest legal bit

i know it's not what you want to hear, but the bit probably isn't the problem if she's running off with your son in a snaffle... it's training, she needs to learn to be polite to a light aid.
how is he using his hands? if he's pulling back with both when she accelerates it might just be giving her something to lean into and go (it takes two to make a tug of war and all that) so perhaps if he tried a give and then quick tug, give again, to shock her out of it, that might persuade her to desist.
however, really it is probably a longer term thing, teaching her to be a lot politer with him!
