Greetings all!
Reaching out to my favourite group of equestrian experts! Can anyone recommend any UK or overseas equestrian shops that deliver internationally? I’m in Morocco so it’s a bit hit and miss. I’ve shopped Eqlusive.com and had the Hass brushes delivered so very happy to shop from them again but Christmas is coming and I want to shop a bargain in the sales. 😘

I have to pay customs if I'm buying stuff from England. I'm in ireland so I don't know if it'd be the same for you. Horze is good. They often have discount codes. Just riding is another one.

I tried to buy from the netherlands and it was a bitless bridle. It was already costing a pretty penny with delivery and then when it arrived in the country it was going be be another £50 odd quid so I ended up cancelling it and letting it be sent back and will never purchase anything abroad again.

Do you have someone in this country that you could get stuff delivered to? And they could forward to you?

I am sure there are companies that bulk ship. So you get it sent to that company uk address and then they get a load of parcels and forward them onto that country to reduce costs.

I’ve done this so far but it’s not ideal. My family are sick of saddles in their front room🫣🫣🫣

I have sold on ebay to Netherlands, I posted to a Uk courier depot and from there it went to buyer they organised everything, maybe a H&H member could act as a go between.
I bought from Australia a Eramask inhaler was shipped easy peasy though was £ 50 customs. Recently I bought scoot boots and a gain DHL was amazing, went from Melbourne to Victoria to Singapore to Bahrain to Germany to Luton and then Heathrow in 4 days which is better than Evri couriers.

What are you buying

You'll have to pay duty no matter if it comes from the UK or EU, Morocco is outside of Europe. I've shipped stuff to Morocco for work and it was a long and convoluted process involving carnets and detailed paperwork, we used an international shipping agent.

Yes! Sometimes they make me pick up things from the airport security and it costs a lot. Other times it just goes to the post office and you pay a lot less.
