Hiya everyone! I've dug through a lot of my old horse gear after being out of the loop for a while and have a handful of brand new winter outdoor Fal-Pro rugs that I'm struggling to price due to them not producing rugs anymore! I'm hoping someone may be able to help me with some insight. An example of a couple of the rugs I have are:

new - 7'0 450g outdoor Fal-pro (SI) with detachable neck
new - 6'9 40g outdoor Fal-pro (SI viking)

(SI - Silver interactive)

I am really struggling! Some of these were 200-400 brand new if I am remembering correctly, and they're still brand new, some in the original packaging and some not. I'm not so involved in the horse world anymore and don't expect full prices despite their condition but I have no idea where to start! I am looking at donating one fal-pro goliath to a rescue to sell to raise funds, but that leaves me with all the rest to figure out! Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

No idea about prices but the 40g will sell much easier than the 450g, which nobody seems to want anymore (I’ve never used a rug that heavy)

They might also take slightly longer to sell due to their size. For the person with a horse that size they’ll be valuable but might take a while to find them. Those sized rugs are often discounted in sales as well so you might have to consider that when you price.

You need to sell in the right weather. For example people were messaging everyday for heavy weights in the middle of winter. They are still in fly season at the moment. Even lightweights aren't selling well yet, they are just starting to pick up this week. I sell for charity and 7fts I sell quite well as there are a lot of bigger horses around. Just not the right weather yet. I would try around the £80 mark for new heavy weight. But wait for the right weather.
