UnRetiring
Member
Hello,
I'm currently in the process of relocating from Hampshire up to a village called Oakley on the Oxfordshire/Buckinghamshire borders, but am really struggling to find grazing for my 4 horses.
They are all quiet, well behaved neddies and I have years of experience with looking after them and paddock/land maintenance (plus my OH is a farmer so I have access to all the 'gear' - harrow, spreader etc) but I am at a complete dead end with my search for somewhere to keep them that isn't full livery on a competition yard (which seems excessive when one of them is retired & one is only 9 months old!)
I'm self employed, so am flexible to be able to help look after other horses / have experience running livery yard and am willing to consider anything from 4-50 acres with / without shelter / stables / house / menage / happy to rennovate etc etc. plus I have excellent references, yet STILL I can't find anywhere.
Am at my wits end - do any of you lovely people have any ideas?
Jen
