Hi was wondering if anyone could give me some advice on livery in the Cheltenham area.

I am looking for full time livery, up to about 10 miles from Cheltenham

Thanks.

Rectory farm, duntisbourne abbots. PM if you want some detail about the yard, I had a friend who was there, and I did some work there for Jenna the lady who owns it (she events) and some riding/excercising.

I have just had a look on her website it looks like a really nice yard and is definitely something to bear in mind.

Many thanks :)

Witcombe has spaces atm. Has no website but can give you YO's number if your interested.

Indoor and outdoor school, nice stables, really nice turnout, amazing hacking and close enough to motorway that it's easy to get on but isn't noisy.

That sounds good also, at the moment I am trying to find yards in preparation for buying my own horse in a few months, I got sick of riding other peoples so decided to get my own. :)

Yes I meant full as in not diy etc due to work and family commitments I am unable to be there as often as I would like :)

Ok, if you look at rectory farm, bear in mind that there is not much turnout in the winter, and in the summer its ok but not loads. But they look after the horses really well and Jenna is a good teacher.

I looked at her site and it seemed that she offers everything.

And it would be really good to have a teacher on site and her prices where reasonable, so that would be handy as my partner wants to learn to ride if I will let him on my new baby when I get it ;)

There is brilliant hacking too. You could get more facilities like bigger and indoor schools and jumping fields/xc course and more turnout (my most important thing) for similar money, although iv personally found that bigger yards with loads of facilities have less time for individual horses, and less competent staff. They do offer pretty much everything and all the staff are very good.
