advice on lorries please

Hi
I am looking to buy my first lorry and would like some advice. I will only ever travel one horse but he is a big 16.1hh ISH and I want something solid, safe and well built. Living not a priority and happy to go for bigger than 3.5t if necessary but as we have restricted space at the yard, it can't be too large. We are in the South East so would prefer not to have to travel too far to view. Any help would be appreciated.

I found mine on horsemart, I travelled to Brighton for mine. You see quite a few on Facebook. There are a couple of sites you can join, like Kent equine grapevine. In the beginning I started with a transit, it was simple to drive and really nice as a starter. I now how the box on an LDV, which is a little more difficult.
