Can anyone offer me any advice on mucking out my wood pellet bed please?
I have a youngster who will only stand at the front of her stable nibbing away at her haynet, she will make her mess where she stands, and consequently it all gets mashed into the bed, not a problem i suppose it is all in one place, but when i come to muck her out, instead of being able to lift off the solids, i end up with one solid mess, wet & poo's combined. Consequently i am lifting around a barrow of wet out every day.
When i made the bed up i used around 15 bags of 15kg so i could bring the bed almost to the door, so i don't think that i have made it too thin.
Anyone have any advice? please
