Advice on Position :) Please :D

First thing I would do is to pop your stirrups up a few holes :)
I'm not overly experienced though so hopefully someone with more authority may be able to provide more help :)

Agree, pop your stirrups up a couple of holes, you're nice and relaxed which is good. Try not to get in front of the movement, if you're too far forward coming into a fence you're going to come a cropper if your horse stops. Maybe lift your hands slightly too. Get those toes in too. Apart from that, good work ;)

Stirrups up, and you need to work on not sticking your feet out at odd angles - so no gripping with your knee and strengthening your lower leg to stop your feet turning out.

I also think your pony needs a diet.

I would also say pop your stirrups up a few holes. Once you have done this everything should fall into place easier. You will be able to hold yourself in a more upright position and ride with the horse not in front of it. Good luck :)

I opened this thread as I have an awful jumping position and thought I might pick up some tips.

I do think your pony is carrying a lot of weight to be doing a lot of jumping, esp if you do plan to up the height. Our ground here is rock hard too.

Your position is better than mine. I have elbows that prepare for take off!

Agree with putting stirrups up a few holes, i think it would help :)
I also think your sweet pony is looking a bit too well, some time in a starvation paddock might help :)
