Advice on saddle for Connemara

Hi

I have a 14.1 Connemara whos 7 years old, hes got a flat back and is short coupled,my current saddle, lovatt and rickets fits him shape wise but I feel perched as high on the withers,it was fitted by a saddle fitter however I want a one that I feel connected to the horse with. I would also like a lighter weight saddle if poss. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as a minefield looking for one!!!
