Advice on type/ breeds for future purchase

Thank you all I will keep an open mind. The main criteria this time is nothing younger than 7/8 preferably older. My daughter has found a potential share which takes the pressure off a bit. If it works out its a pony she could have a lot of fun with.

I'm not sure if this has already been suggested but potentially a stock horse type? American Quarter Horse, American Paint, Appaloosa types maybe? Quarter x Drafts are quite a popular cross in the States from what I've seen as they're hardy and versatile, but I assume they'd be quite hard to find over here.

They are quite hard to come by but quarter horses are absolutely lovely! We had a lovely one at our yard, super little horse she was
