Advice on urgent rehoming

If you get ridiculously stuck I rent a field and there are two in it. Very little grass but I hay and I pay the guy who owns it £35 PW per horse. There is another field with his pony so I’d imagine room somewhere. I can’t offer to pay that bit for you but can temporarily look after him for you whilst you get sorted. I’m there twice a day.

Any news OP?
Hi,

Firstly, thank you everyone so much for all the ideas

I contacted MMT on Friday they said they'd have a think and get back to me - I haven't heard anything yet although it was the bank holiday weekend so hopefully I'll hear something today.

I've tried to negotiate having the field even for a week longer which was unsuccessful. I've also tried a few people locally (via the local hunt) who said they were interested in him but that ended up being a lot of talking and time with nothing actually coming out of it.

From a little bit of research I think he is a section 1 Exmoor.

I'm realising that my only option is probably to sell him. I have to say this somewhat terrifies me, I've never sold a horse to someone that I didn't already know (if that makes sense) before.

Two other issues I'm running into are that I don't have any form of transport (I don't have a vehicle that could tow if I did hire a trailer and I have a history of a TBI so the cost of insurance if I was to rent a lorry is crazy). I also just work slightly insane hours which means I'm only free at weekends to deal with something like a potential viewing.

Also very aware that I'm running on incredibly limited time as it's now Tuesday and it all needs to be sorted by Sunday.
