I have worked at my yard now every sunday for 5 years, mucking out, turning out, riding and accompanying my boss to comps to help as a groom, then feeding, catching in, clearing the fields etc.....basically general yard duties.
I have been getting paid £20 a day for the past 5 years.
I think that I should be able to ask for a payrise, I'm not asking for much but really dont know how to go about it.
When I started working there, I was 'doing' two horses and a pony and now both of the horses have been sold and replaced with a newbie who i am still looking after and the pony. So i basically started off doing a little more work that i am now.
Any help would be appreciated. I only ask as I have been asked to feed a friends ponies next week for 3 days am and pm and she is giving me £60 just to do this??
