Can anyone please give me an idea of how much they pay for their lessons? I have been quoted £30 per hour for a private lesson in an indoor school (which is £10 ph to hire anyway) with a dressage instructor. The lady gave me an intro lesson for 45 mins FOC and I really liked her. Do you think £30 is reasonable?

At the RI I pay £16 for half hour, £25 for full hour. With YO (she's qualified instructor) it's £10 per session but were friends so I get it cheap

I think £30 is abt average tbh.

Depends on location as for the SE that would be pretty reasonable, up north, maybe less so

If you like the instructor and you're going to get on - well you can't put a price on that IMHO

thanks everyone for the advice - £30 sounds pretty reasonable then (yes we are in the SE) and school is a 10 min hack away so ideal really!

I pay €80 (£60?) per hour for a private lesson with my current trainer who has evented up to 3* level... I also have to pay €20 to rent out the indoor arena...
