Hello,
My horse came in from field at middle of last week having thrown a front shoe. The shoe was subsequently found in the field, bent out of shape quite spectacularly!! Farrier replaced shoe on fri & she was a bit tender when trotted up after. Turned her out as usual the next day but when I trotted her up today she was nodding in trot (worse than before) so have given her a bute & decided to keep her in 2moro & see how she is. I'm reluctant to call vet as they normally say bute & box rest in my experience. Any advice appreciated
Ps; no heat/swelling in feet or legs & no visible puncture in sole or frog- also,She is shod with NB shoes which have no clips.
Rude comments will be ignored- Thankyou
