my 64 year old friend has to sell her lovely Welsh D due to her health problems.
He is 9 yrs old and was gelded late (at about 6) then broken to drive before being broken to ride at 7. Did lots of in hand showing with previous owner and also hacking, hound rides, xc schooling etc.
My friend has had him since May and he has been professionally schooled twice a week in both flatwork and jumping. She mainly hacks him out and has done some long distance rides (with lots of good ditch jumping!). He did one unaffiliated show this summer winning the Ridden M&M class, coming 2nd in the M&M workers, Champion M&M and Reserve Supreme Champion of Show.
The real bu**er is that he is not papered as that would make a big difference but sadly, to date, we have not been able to find out enough about his breeding and history before he turned 5 to ascertain whether or not we can get duplicate papers for him.
So, the question is - what should she be asking for him?
(will try to post photo later when I've worked out how to do this but new to forum so ...
