Advice please

I am thinking of putting my mare in foal she had a foal two years before i got her and it was still born early the foal was born deformed it was a black colt,i did speak to the owner who is a well known eventer and she said the vet was going to inject from about 7 months if she was ever in foal again

been a novice to all this and been a worried mommy that it will happen again what would you do risk it or leave it

She has excellent breding lines and is a lovely laid back TB mare that has a lot of talent.

speak to your vet, just because a horse has one still born doesnt mean that they are likely to have another, maybe get her monitored regularly too

Try and find a local vet - even if not from your normal practice - that specialises in Stud work.
