advice please

ok horse came in from field slightly lame on hind leg,,,swelling just above ankle...vet came said windgall...didnt think any tendon damage etc gave anti inflamatories and rest for 2 weeks with cold hosing....she
came sound in 3 days and was fine for 6 weeks...outin field 2 days ago and she lame in trot...can weight bare and fine in walk but lame in trot...vet came going to do xrays etc.....he said worst case senario 6 months box rest.....best case just a sprain....im worried sik plz has anyone any experiences with windgalls etc im convinced its something worse !!!

Sorry but windgalls rarely, if ever cause lameness

Try not to worry (fat chance!) and wait for the result of the x-rays, it may well be just a sprain

What has the vet advised you do in the meantime? Is the horse on box rest?
