I have had my mare at my neighbours yard for a few months so i could wean her foal from her, i now have to bring her home due to reasons out of my control, but now my farmer has told me that he wants me to get rid of one, i have 2 other youngsters that i want to keep so the only option is to get rid of her.
The problem is she has been used as a broodmare for the last few years although can now be brought back into work with someone experienced. She is a typical mare and will pull faces, doesn't like to be left on her own at all.
However she is good to handle, traffic, box, shoe, vet etc etc i have never had any issues with her handling wise.
Is there a market for her at the moment? I am open to sell or loan her but i need to do it asap as i am heavily pregnant and farmer is getting assy!
Where is the best place to advertise her for quick sale? If she was to sell it would be for a minimal amount, no where near what she is worth as i need her gone in the next few weeks. I really don't want to get rid of her but being pregnant and having a narky farmer has sort of made my mind up for me, i was looking forward to riding her once baby is here.
Please someone give me some advice where to advertise
