I have to elderly neddies (21 TbxConnie and 22 TB) my 22 TB has a large lump on his spine and the vet is concerned it is an abcess draining from his spinal column.
I am trying to be positive but the antibiotics don't appear to have touched it so the vet is due to come back on Monday. He is fine in himself and untill now was out doing distance rides at the weekends.
I am so worried that the news is going to bad and I really don't know what to do if we have to have him PTS. My boys are such good friends, I wanted to ask peoples advice on what do with the "other" horse while his companion is being PTS? Its breaks my heart thinking about it
