I haven't been on here for a while! Anyway I am basically looking for a bit of advice on showing my mare. I've done showing with her before but I was wondering about other peoples views. Basically I am showing next weekend in hand as it is our first show out since she had her first foal. We are doing Veteran, large bred M&M unreg and part bred. She is a 14.3hh Welsh D x NF.
I was wondering any tips on helping to stand square, she will stand but would like her to stand out a bit better with a good stand. Also tips on bringing her coat up! I can sort her whites out, I use washing up liquid and chalk and it works a dream! I usually just use tescos own or johnsons shampoo so not really sure what else gives good results out there!
Also as for me I have a navy jacket, a cream shirt, red stock, beige jods and black boots and gaiters. Will that be okay?
