Hello thanks for reading this .. I have a tb who ive had for 9 years . Today whilst riding he was trying to itch his left side of the girth area I tried to itch it for him as he was getting quite bothered by it he obviously enjoyed me scratching the area just behind the girth on the left about 10 inches below the saddle flaps , but obviously couldn't spend ages doing it as was on a hack so I gave him a Good scratch them asked him to move forward which he did for about 100 yards then would try to itch again .. so I got off took his saddle off checked every where but found nothing ? Got back on got about 400 yards then he repeated the behaviour but adding mini rocking horse buck / rears .. so off I got again but took his numnah off this time lead him for abit then remounted . In the end I gave up and led him home he didn't do it once ? I checked every thing thoroughly but found nothing ?? Any ideas . Going to try again in the morning & see what happens hes never done anything like this before ? What do you think ? Thanks
