I've had my new horse for 3 weeks, he has been brilliant so far and although only 4 very well behaved. He came over from holland so it was a 3 day journey on a lorry with stops each night.
He stood still for the first week for me to get on but now backs up away from the block and won't stand without being held, he also isn't happy about lifting his back legs up. Am booking the vet tomorrow and the chiropractor to make sure there is nothing wrong.
He isn't lame and happy in himself, trotting and bucking for joy in the paddock, so do you think I'm missing something or is he just testing me? I haven't had a young horse in a long time and am a terrible worrier!
