Hi all,
I have a 3.5 yo WBxTB stallion, due to be cut in early spring.
He lives out 24/7, grass in field available in places but his majority intake is hay as we already have a lot of mud!
He has 1 bucket feed per day currently, and it's 1 scoop of equi-glo, 1 scoop of alfa a original, a powder balancer called 365 from equine answers plus a scoop of low cal chaff just to slow him down a bit.
He looks okay, pretty shiny considering getting is still unrugged, and actually he has got a bit fat in the last few weeks! He developed physitis at 10 weeks old so I've always been conscious of feeding too much.
I just want to ensure I'm feeding him appropriately for his age, what do you recommend for your youngsters?
