Hi All
My mum mentioned that I was moving a little too much while schooling my horse yesterday (sitting trot:o:eek:) and so I have decided to change my sports bra!

Although I use sports/shock absorbing ones at the moment, they are not as good as one I have that I love which is very old - it is a sports/racer style back, more like a crop top and I love it as it flattens everything. I would love to get something similar but its so old I've no idea of its make. I use it for running too as its so good.

What would you recommend, I'm not massive, just a B cup, but I prefer everything to not move at all!

I apologise to HHO if I shouldn't post this but as you all ride, I'm sure I'll get the best advice/recommendations on here :D

Many thanks in advance :D

I wear the shock absorber level 4 ones and they make my Fs look more like As so they definitely flatten them!
I wear them as I do a lot of running with the kids and the fathers have been heard to comment when I wear a normal bra :o

I also wear the shock absorber level 4, definitely no bounce with this. Keeps everything in place! I've also got some shock absorbers with the race back which are very good also, think these are level 3s.

Great help so far, I like the Dans ez - they look nice. And the Enell looks very supportive. Might have to get both to try.

I currently have a drawer full of the shock absorber level 4 bra's but for some reason they are not working as well - either they are getting old, or I have changed shape

I wouldn't have this particular problem even if I did ride but I do think the bouncing look is very unattractive from a spectator's point of view :)

If Less Bounce still sell Pure Lime have a look at those - they are fab, and actually quite flattering (as in OH doesn't go Urrgh when he sees them :D ) Think Derby House also sell Pure Lime. Oh ad they also do a really nice base layer tee shirt for when it gets cold again!

I like the M&S underwired ones. I am a D cup and nothing moves with these. Trouble is they are hard to get hold of as so popular so I end up having to get them on-line!

I wear a normal bra with a sports top over the top. If it gets really warm I can just whip off my t shirt and away I go. I buy them cheap from TK Maxx. I also have a pure lime bra which again I wear on top of a normal bra. The ones with the racer backs seem to hold better.
I have had shock absorbers in the past but I found they make your boobs look a funny shape.

Another vote for the shock absorber, I love their specialist running sports bras which has an extra clip at the back and really keeps everything still!

Freya sports active - I find it much better than the shock absorber. I used to like the m&s ones but last time I went they were rubbish and all in ridiculous colours. Black and flouro pink isn't a great look under a shirt at a competition!

I'm a big Shock Absorber fan and after a phlloides tumour in one of my boobs last year I actually have two completely different size boobs...one b/c cup one d/e cup. I have found that sometimes going down a size in shock absorbers can be beneficial as they can "relax" after a while.

Another vote for Shock Abosrber Level 4, but buy a size smaller than normal bra eg I'm a 32D so I buy a 32C, and the running ones are like crop tops, and also the double strap at the back really helps secure things, and they come in a range of cool colours not just white black and nude, urgh!

A well endowed client of mine swore by duct tape. :) (I'd ad a winking smiley but I'm not joking!) Another went with surgery!!! (I'm assuming not just because it was affecting her riding.)

Also pro the Shock Absorber and the M&S ones but honestly, I'm not really the target market for these things.

One thing I have found is it's almost impossible to order types you haven't tried on. I tried a range of options in a store one day and found they really didn't fit similarly at all, especially across the shoulders and chest band.

Lots of help and suggestions, might have to go bra shopping to try them on - not something I do very often :)

duct tape - mmm think I'll pass!

the shock absorber ones with the racer back look much better than the ones I have - I think mine might be level 3.
