Advice stomach upset

Working cocker with hypoallergenic diet - allergies to chicken & beef. Before I start - he has visited the vets this week and will go back next week.
Diarrhoea since last Sunday. Had anti sickness injection, zitac tablets and paste. Starved for 24 hrs and bland diet. No improvement. He’s bright in himself not dehydrated and drinking normally. He’s not making it through the night so I’ve had to buy puppy pads and every night he’s had diarrhoea on them.
The Friday before the Sunday when this began, he and my other dog emptied my kitchen bin - I don’t know what they ate but my border terrier is hardy and has had no issues since. Has anyone got any ideas what I can do to help him?

Is he fully vaccinated and are we talking water or loose faeces?

Id be looking at getting faecal analysis done ASAP with the aim to then getting an appropriate treatment for him.

Yes he is.
Consistency is egg yolk, now v bile . He is drinking well and is bright. His stomach is not sensitive to the touch.

If he otherwise seems healthy, I would feed him white fish and arrowroot buscuits, unless he is allergic to wheat. If he is, try mixing arrowroot powder with water and a small amount of gravy /fish liquor to give it flavour

If hes eaten stuff from the bin I would be concerned he has a blockage especially if hes vomiting as well. As its a bank holiday weekend I dont think I would wait. I would at least ring the vet for advice. If it were just a stomach upset I would hope with the treatment he has had he would be better by now.
I personally wouldnt be giving home made remedies unless you are sure he has nothing stuck.

I'd have him back to the vets in case of a blockage , this happened with my boss's dog, it had been eating stones... if all is well on the x rays and scans, try poached white fish and slippery elm.

The Chinese remedy for diarrhoea in any species is congee which is sloppy, starchy boiled rice. I gave my son’s dog an indestructible smoked bone but he ate it which gave him watery, bloody stools. The congee with a bit of boiled chicken or white fish in your dog’s case sorted him out pronto.

Thats what I would do too. A blockage is life threatening and not worth the risk.

I would have expected the vet to check for a blockage at the initial visit.

They would not be able to be certain unless they took xrays.
