advice/thoughts re swelling

iv been using a dry melolin dressing and vet wrapping it and over night he has had a sportbac turnout boot on top. the swelling had prety much gone. so this morning i go down to find he torn one of the boots clean in half! his leg was looking prety much normal so thought i would leave the vetwrap off for the day and see how he got on. hes in the field so is constantly moving. i took the bandage off at 11am this morn and went back down the field at 8 oclock 2nite and his leg is massive again! so iv bandaged it again. i cant walk him as hes pullled a front shoe off so his hoping around. im going to ring the vet 2moro morning but i just dont get how it is gone one minute then back worse than before the next. i presumed once the swellings gone its gone. it swells in a specific place though right over and around the wound which is between the fetlock and hock on his hind leg at the front. im concerned there is more going on here. hes had 12 days worth of anti biotics.
he doesnt do things by half this horse!

Havent read your previous post but cellulitis might be the problem.My mare had it from cut and it was awful.Treatment was turnout for swelling and anti biotics (although you are using them)

i never had this problem before where swelling goes and comes back again with in hours. this is taking so long to heal, think im just gona ask the vet to investigate it, i bet shes damaged something when kicking him.
