Thought some hunting folk might have some tips for my OH.

He is whipping in this year (so has to hunt in all weathers). He decided he wants some waterproof breeches. After a trip up to Old Mill Saddlery this afternoon he has decided he doesn't like the racing style waterproof breeches as they are very thin and very very slippery, and also made for midgets (an XL size just about fitted

).

Did a google search tonight and found these.......

(the tally ho ones - Berkshire hunting breeches)

which look fab, but are very expensive at about £110.

Can anyone recommend them, or alternatively tell me where to get them at the best price???

Many thanks

Fiona

umm I have Turfmaster waterproof ones (fleecey lined inside = super comfortable!) which you can get in men and womans, I paid €54 for them.

I use Ri-Dry breeches (waterproof over breeches really, that come down over the top of your boots and look really smart)and waterproof hunting coat (you can get them in black, navy or red) - I have never been snugger since I got these, they were worth every penny, and they get a lot of use here!

A waterproof hunting coat sounds like it will cost a FORTUNE ROwreach!!!

Maybe I will stick with the waterproof breeches for the moment, and see how we get on. Ri-dry make the horse waterproof hoods don't they.

Sorry - I have googled this company until I am blue in the face, and not getting anywhere. Lots of listings in Exmoor/SW business directories but they definitely don't seem to have their own website. Do you know who sells their stuff?????

Thanks

Fiona
